دونوں وقت ملتے ہیں دو دلوں کی صورت سے
(Donon waqt milte hain do dilon ki soorat se)

آسماں نے خوش ہو کر رنگ سا بکھیرا ہے
(Aasmaan ne khush ho kar rang sa bakhera hai)

ٹھہرے ٹھہرے پانی میں گیت سرسراتے ہیں
(Thahre thahre pani mein geet sarsarate hain)

بھیگے بھیگے جھونکوں میں خوشبوؤں کا ڈیرا ہے
(Bheegay bheegay jhonkon mein khushbuon ka dera hai)

کیوں نہ جذب ہو جائیں اس حسیں نظارے میں
(Kyun na jazb ho jayein is haseen nazare mein)

روشنی کا جھرمٹ ہے مستیوں کا گھیرا ہے
(Roshni ka jhurmat hai mastiyon ka ghera hai)


Translation:
In the trees of the mountains, evening takes rest,
A silver-gray light blends with a golden dusk.

The meeting of day and night is like two hearts uniting,
The sky, delighted, spreads its colors far and wide.

Songs whisper through the still, tranquil waters,
In the damp, gentle breeze, the fragrance makes its home.
