میری مٹی سے بھی خوشبوئے وفا آئے گی
Meri mitti se bhi khushbu-e-wafa aaye gi

میں اٹھا لوں گا بڑے شوق سے اس کو سر پر
Main utha loonga bade shauq se isko sar par

خدمت قوم و وطن میں جو بلا آئے گی
Khidmat-e-qaum-o-watan mein jo bala aaye gi

سامنا صبر و شجاعت سے کروں گا میں بھی
Samna sabr-o-shujaat se karoon ga main bhi

کھنچ کے مجھ تک جو کبھی تیغ جفا آئے گی
Khinch ke mujh tak jo kabhi tegh-e-jafa aaye gi


Translation:
Fear of calamity will never bring hypocrisy into my heart.
A truth once spoken will always find its way to the lips.
Even in death, the love for my homeland will never leave my heart.
Even my soil will carry the fragrance of loyalty.
I will proudly bear any hardship upon my head.
Any difficulty that arises in the service of my nation.
I will face every trial with patience and courage.
Even if the sword of cruelty is drawn against me.
