An ode to Kaif Muradabadi

بقا کی فکر کرو خود ہی زندگی کے لئے

Translation:

Care about sustenance for life itself,
The world never does anything for anyone.
Excellence lies in lighting a lamp on the path,
That has long been yearning for illumination.
Be mindful of the direction of the winds,
Wherever you light a lamp for illumination.
