ہے غلط گر گُمان میں کچھ ہے
(Hai ghalat gar gumaan mein kuch hai,)

دل بھی تیرے ہی ڈھنگ سیکھا ہے

آن میں کچھ ہے، آن میں کچھ ہے

لے خبر" تیغِ یار کہتی ہے
(Le khabar "tegh-e-yaar kehti hai,)

باقی اس نیم جان میں کچھ ہے
(Baqi is neem jaan mein kuch hai.)

ان دنوں کچھ عجب ہے میرا حال
(In dinon kuch ajab hai mera haal,)

دیکھتا کچھ ہوں، دھیان میں کچھ ہے
(Dekhta kuch hoon, dhyaan mein kuch hai.)

اور بھی چاہیے سو کہیے اگر
(Aur bhi chahiye so kahiye agar,)

دلِ نا مہربان میں کچھ ہے
(Dil-e-na meherban mein kuch hai.)

درد تو جو کرے ہے جی کا زیاں
(Dard to jo kare hai jee ka ziyan,)

فائدہ اس زیان میں کچھ ہے؟

Translation:
